Amber- baby stuff

So i have read a million different things about breast feeding...some say you can have two cups of coffee a day, some say you can have 5, but no more than five...everything gives charts and different perspectives about drinking (like feed her, have a beer, then it'll take about 2 hours for it to leave your breast milk so when you feed her again she wont be exposed to any alcohol at all...and then others say if you are having more than two drinks, just make sure to have enough bottles pumped so that she can eat, and you need to wait about 6-8 hours till its completly out of your breast milk...) So how in the world do you know what is true?
Well with all that, my main question is storing it. The pump i bought said that milk can be stored in the fridge for 4 days and frozen for 4 months...but in one of my books it says store it in the fridge for only 48 hours and depending on your freezer you can only freeze it between 2 weeks or up to 6 months if your freezer is at 0 F. SOOO how in the world do i even know how long to store it? My pump directions were totally different than the book i have, and it didn't mention anything about storing depending on the type of fridge (1 door, 2 door). What the heck!

Hey Jen this is what amber says...
No drinking alcohol at all when breast feeding. Always use caution. If you see for example that one book says 1 cup of coffee one says 5. go with the one cup. Also take into consideration ALL caffinated beverages. Like coffee, espresso and soda.
The rule of thumb is 48 hours in the fridge and 3-4 months in the freezer. You have to buy special storage bags for the freezer so She would just go with what the bag says to do. Because it may very depending on what type of plastic the bags are made of.
Remember you will start weening her off of breast milk at 6 months.
Any more Q's let me know.
Talk to you soon!
